DIGI is the first exhibition to be hung in the UTAS Cradle Coast campus Atrium Gallery. The Atrium Gallery, in the new building of the campus, is designed to promote students’ interest in contemporary visual art and by exhibiting the work of Tasmanian artists as well as touring exhibitions. The exhibition is open to the public on weekdays, from 9am to 6pm between May 24th 2010 until June 25th 2010.
DIGI was opened by campus lecturer, Clayton Hawkins, who has a long association with the arts and a keen interest in digital media as a communication technology and as an art form. Twenty-two multi-media students from the Hellyer Campus of the Tasmanian Academy attended the opening.
