The latest exhibit of Allen's works can be seen hanging in the Atrium Café in Cimitiere Street, Launceston Tasmania. The DIGISCAPE exhibition is a slightly slimmed down version of DIGI (the previous exhibition) and consists of nine digital landscapes (due to limited hanging area). The DIGISCAPE exhibition was arranged and opened by the marvelous Greg King from Gekoia "The Artist's Agency" and the wonderful Janie and her extremely talented crew at the Atrium Café made the opening event a real hit with the crowd. |

DIGI is the first exhibition to be hung in the UTAS Cradle Coast campus Atrium Gallery. The Atrium Gallery, in the new building of the campus, is designed to promote students’ interest in contemporary visual art and by exhibiting the work of Tasmanian artists as well as touring exhibitions. The exhibition is open to the public on weekdays, from 9am to 6pm between May 24th 2010 until June 25th 2010.
DIGI was opened by campus lecturer, Clayton Hawkins, who has a long association with the arts and a keen interest in digital media as a communication technology and as an art form. Twenty-two multi-media students from the Hellyer Campus of the Tasmanian Academy attended the opening.

On February 10th 2010 the DIGI Exhibition will be opening at the University of Tasmania NEW gallery.
DIGI will feature digital art work created by Brad Allen, the founder of Scarab Design Advertising Agency. DIGI will take advantage of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technology introduced to Launceston by the HIT Lab Australia.
The exhibition will feature original digital prints by Brad Allen which will be on display in the NEW Gallery, and the HIT Lab AU will set up two technology based stations:
1) Augmented digital contents will be digitally superimposed on an actual digital art work to provide new and different perspectives to the digital prints.
2) A two-seat custom-made theater will be equipped with a 3D stereo display for delivering 3D static and dynamic digital contents from the exhibition.
The exhibition will be open from 10th February 2010 until 26 March 2010 and admission is free.
View the HIT Lab website for more details about the exhibition, or to RSVP for the opening of the exhibition.
